
The team was founded by a famous industrialist of '30s, Dumitru Mociorniță
and it started to play in C League; in 1940 it took the name Carmen and
in national championship, A League of 1946-47, club came on second place
after ITA (UTA). In summer of 1947, Communist regime interfered with,
and the team was dissolved, players being transferred to other teams in
Bucharest and its standing in A League was allocated to ASA Bucharest
(Steaua). With a very few people remained, a new team was founded, Pielari
(Flacăra Roșie) which played in Bucharest local championship and then
in C League, being dissolved in 1970's.
