Founded by self-dissolving of FC United Ploieºti, which splitted in two:
Romanian-American Society Bucharest - Roma - (Societatea Româno-Americanã
Bucureºti), which won the national championship in 1914-15 (after WWI,
it dissappeared) and, another team, Prahova Ploieºti. Before and after
WWII, it plays mostly in B and C Leagues, except in 1930-31 and 1946-47
when the club is in A League. In 1947, Prahova merges with Concordia.
