| History: | The first professional football club
in Romania; due to this status, until 1933 (the year of first National
League), the team and its players could not be used in national official
competitions. The name was inspired by Roman Empire's province "Dacia
Ripensis" organized on that part of Romania (today called Banat).
After Scond World War, due to the economy and new organisation in sport
field (with Soviet Union influence) Ripensia played in second and third
leagues, and after 1948 it disappeared. |
