Sorin Paraschiv (Steaua) - he was the best player from the field in the match against Sportul Studenţesc. In a difficult moment for his team he succeeded the equalization after a cross of Florentin Dumitru. He also succeeded more turnovers, passed a lot to his mates and pressed the "students". After he debuted at national team of Romania in the match with Andorra, won by Romania with 5-1, he will be probably called again at the important match against Czech Republic. His good matches from this season made the owner of Steaua, Gigi Becali, to grow his salary.

Vasili Hamutovski (Steaua) - after the mistakes he made in matches with Zeleznik Beograd and CSKA Sofia and some hesitances from championship, Walter Zenga sent him on the bench, substituting him with goalkeeper Martin Tudor. In the match with Sportul, after Tudor injuried, Hamutovski replaced him in second part of the match, in 46 minute. The substitute proved to be decisive because Hamutovski saved more shots of Tibi Bălan and Gigel Bucur and he found the right positions in the box before the crosses of Sportul players. His good form gives now to Zenga hopes in second leg with CSKA Sofia. "I didn't come to Steaua to stay on the bench. If mr. Zenga doesn't make me titular again, I will leave Steaua" - said before the match the most loved player of Steaua in last season.

Claudiu Niculescu (Dinamo) - he was the best player from the match Dinamo-Braşov, when, after Braşov leaded with 1-0 at the end of first part, he showed his class and turned the result. He sent first the ball in the bar of goalkeeper Dossey, then he scored beautiful from free-kick, being the goal of the round. He ran a lot, he also obtained the penalty kick (was faulted by Brujan) and Dănciulescu scored and practically, due to him, Dinamo won the match. He had a poor start of championship and even Bălţoi scored first goal last round, at Bacău, the coach Ioan Andone preferred to start last night with Niculescu. Andone talked individual with Niculescu and he told him that is in good form and promised that he will score. Niculescu respected his promise and scored for 1-1.
