Eduard Cornel Stăncioiu (Sportul Studenţesc Bucureşti): He defended excellent again the net of students, succeeding two decisive interventions, which have counted a lot in winning of the three points. First was in first half, when the score was 0-0, he saved the ball sent by Gabriel Caramarin, the international player being one to one with the goalkeeper of Sportul. In second half, even at the debute of it, he saved with the top of the fingers the ball sent by Ionuţ Savu from 6 metres. He shoutted at his defenders all the time and mobilized them at maximum, had more interventions at the corners of the visitors, catching the ball and throwing it with the hand rapidly to his mates.

Liviu Mihai (FC Farul Constanţa): The player of Farul played just 59 minutes with FCM Bacău, but he succeeded to score the single goal of the match, with a shot from 17 metres. His merit is more because he played this match being still injuried. These three points are very important for "sailors", they playing in a tension after the case of dopped players (Senin, Apostol and Baicu). Two seasons ago Liviu Mihai made practically his coach Petre Grigoraş to leave the club, even he was brought by him from "U" Cluj. With this goal, it's seem that Liviu Mihai repaired his mistake of the trainer.

Adrian Neaga (Steaua Bucureşti): He was the best player of the match Steaua Bucureşti - Oţelul Galaţi, won by "red-blues" with 1-0. International player scored the single goal of the match, with the head, after a cross from right side from Daniel Opriţa. He was more agile than the defender of Oţelul, Crăciun, and scored. Neaga was a danger on the left side, passing many times to Cristea, but who couldn't score. He sent by surprise a ball from free-kick from 16 metres and the goalkeeper Barbu hardly reject it in lateral. The goal of Neaga meaned 3 important points, after the failure with Politehnica Iaşi from last round and the defeat from Romanian cup, 0-1 with Universitatea Cluj. The real exam from Steaua is on Thuersday, 21 October, kick-off 20:15, in the match from UEFA cup group, against Standard Liege.

Gheorghe Bucur (Sportul Studenţesc Bucureşti): The little striker of Sportul scored again, having now 8 goals. He was the best player from the field, having many opportunities to score, especially in first half. After he missed three huge occasions, Bucur succeeded the goal of the victory in minute 44. Some rumours said that Bucur will be tranferred from winter to Dinamo, the team from "Ştefan cel Mare" being prepared to pay for him 500.000 USD plus the midfielder Păcurar. Everybody has a good impression about Gigel Bucur, only coach Anghel Iordănescu ignores him inexplicable. If Bucur will score in next matches with Bacău and FC Braşov, he would practically obligate "the general" to convoke him for the match from preliminaries of Worls Cup with Armenia, at Erevan.
